Our roots
Run deep.
Our family’s farming story began in Orange County in the 1920s, when Nicholas J. Stehly established the original farm. Jerome Stehly Sr. later carried that work forward.
As Orange County grew, the family looked for more room to farm. In 1964, Jerome Sr. moved the operation to Valley Center—the place we still call home.
In the late 1970s, his focus shifted from poultry to the groves. In 2002, brothers Jerome and Noel took over, beginning the next chapter as Stehly Farms Organics.
